The Locanda della Meridiana is born from the restoration of an ancient building founded in 1839 by Count Pietro Nieddu, a magistrate and philanthropist. In the mid-19th century, Count Nieddu took to heart the fate of the artisan class and workers, who were generally lacking in adequate support, especially in case of accidents or illness.
He drafted the subscription text in 1866 with the program of the "Società operaia di mutuo soccorso e istruzione" (Workers' Mutual Aid and Education Society). He was also the owner of a vast agricultural estate of about 2000 hectares that occupied almost the entire plain of S. Margherita.

The garden of the Inn which extends for 16,000 square meters. it is enriched by 40 specimens of centenary olive trees that survived all the hardships of almost 2 centuries, and the abandonment of the last 40 years.
The agricultural area was enhanced with the planting of another 60 olive trees, over 100 fruit trees and 200 vines and with the creation of a vast area equipped as a vegetable garden.

The apartments are all embellished with colorful Mediterranean-style decorations that make the environment fresh and restful.
The rooms are double, triple and quadruple and are equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, large bathrooms with shower, some with terrace or garden. At our guests' disposal a comfortable swimming pool and a vegetable garden where you can pick fresh fruit and vegetables every day.
